The Rare Beauty PRO Program is open to all professional makeup artists as well as makeup students in training.

  • A social media account is not required, but please include if you’d like us to consider it during the review process.
  • A professional website is not required, but please include if you’d like us to consider it during the review process.

  • Upload credential images:

    Professional (two of the following required) – all criteria must state full name, makeup profession and be valid within 12 months

    + Call Sheet/Contract/Deal memo document
    + Active Makeup Artist Union Card
    + Cosmetology or Esthetician License
    + Program or Press/Media (print or digital)
    + Agency Representation listed on agency website
    + Makeup Artistry website (personal)
    + Credited Editorial Shoot, documented
    + Retail Pro Makeup Artist Membership (screen grab of current status)

    Student (one of the following required): – all criteria must state full name, makeup profession and be valid within 12 months

    + School transcript relating to beauty industry, include dates of enrollment
    + Call sheet/contract with name and profession listed as Makeup Assistant
    + Retail Pro Makeup Artist Membership (screen grab of current status)
    + Retail proof of employment (pay stub, ID card) (Each file must be under 10 MB in size. Formats: PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPEG, JPG, GIF, PNG)

Rare Beauty PRO provides makeup artists and creative professionals with exclusive access. Rare Beauty PRO strives to elevate the lives of individuals working in all realms of beauty, fashion, celebrity, music, television, film and beyond.

You must create a Rare Beauty account, qualify for one of our 2 membership tiers (Student or Artist), and submit an application. The credentials required for each tier are listed above.

Yes, membership is free.

You will be notified via email about the status of your application within 14 business days of your submission. If your application is not approved, clarification will be given via email and you can reapply at any time.

Your PRO discount is exclusive to rarebeauty.com.

Your PRO discount will automatically be applied online to your order at the final step of checkout as long as you are signed into your Rare Beauty account. Please be sure to use the billing address linked to your credit card for any online purchases.

You must be logged into your account using the same email address you used when you applied for your PRO membership. Please email hello@rarebeauty.com for further assistance if necessary.
